All bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers include a small, lightweight insert for newborns and a larger one-size insert for your growing baby. When your baby outgrows the newborn insert, it works as an overnight booster or as extra absorbency for heavy wetters. This simple design makes cloth diapering as easy as using disposables- perfect for care providers who might be resistant to cloth diapering (including daycare centers).

What will I need to purchase if I use this system full-time?

• 24-36 bumGenius 4.0 diapers and that’s it!
• One-size diapers get a lot of use! Adding a few more than the recommended 24 will spread the workload and make them last.
• You can use bumGenius diapers on a newborn baby, but as with all one-size diapers, they may fit a little bulky for the first month or two.

Cotton Babies Washing Instructions:
Pre-wash cold. Wash hot (100F/40C). Extra rinse. No laundry additives. Line dry cover. Tumble dry insert. No fabric softeners. Use 1/4 cup or 60 mL bleach in the hot wash once per month.

BBB Hint: For great overnight protection, try stuffing a cotton prefold in combination with the bumGenius microfiber insert inside the diaper’s pocket. Many of our customers like to use a combination of pocket diapers and prefolds+covers- relying on pocket diapers for convenient outings, easy care-giving and for overnight.
